Fun Harry Potter Crafts for Kids

Even though the Harry Potter book franchise is now at an end, the books are still just as popular as they ever were. Children love the magic that goes along with Harry, Hermione, and Ron as they go on their adventures. If your kids love this book series, then they will love doing crafts related to it. This will get them more connected to the books and will also let them be creative and imaginative.
If your child has shown an interest in writing, you could do a community story based on Harry Potter with him. For example, he could write a chapter of a new adventure that he would like Harry to be in. Then you could write the next. Go back and forth like this and see where the story takes you.
Not all kids are into writing, though. Some girls really like to knit and sew. In this case, you can start a project with your daughter showing her how to knit a Gryffindor scarf from the Harry Potter universe. Then she can sport her own Harry Potter themed creation around school during the colder months. She is sure to be thrilled that she not only looks the part of someone going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but that she made it herself.
Another thing you and your kids can do is make wands reminiscent of the ones scene in the Harry Potter books and movies. These can be made out of all sorts of material, including cardboard and paper.
